As FTX collapsed, exposing the shady underbelly of the cryptocurrency and NFT industries along with it with it, hard branding lessons are being learned. Nowhere are those lessons felt more profoundly than here, in the city that hitched a good portion of its reputation to crypto. Take this recent OpEd piece by The M Network CEO, Thom Mozloom, for the Miami Herald as a warning: Your organization’s brand is impacted by those with whom it associates just as much as it is by your own actions. Another way to put this, “birds of a feather flock together.”
